Shared Living is:
A supported living arrangement that provides the individual with a sense of belonging to a family and sharing a home and life’s experiences.
Presently we are looking for a single woman to open her home and her heart to a very pleasant 36-year-old woman with a developmental disability. She currently attends a program in Needham
and would need to live somewhere in the area to continue to attend. She is independent, she enjoys swimming, boat rides and zoos, reading music and cooking. She likes cats but would prefer not to live with children.
In addition, we are looking for either a single woman or a couple willing to open their home to a very pleasant 41-year-old-female. She has a disability and uses a wheelchair for mobility. The caregiver home must be wheelchair accessible. She enjoys gatherings, movies, music, parks, arts and crafts, word puzzles and math. She uses a computer/IPad for games and emails. She attends a program in Westwood and needs to live somewhere in the area so she could continue to attend.
She loves dogs but would prefer not to live with cats or children.
To qualify, all applicants must:
Be at least 21 years of age
Have a valid driver’s license and own a car
Pass a CORI and Fingerprinting
Lifeworks Inc., will provide:
Generous monthly stipend
